Hi, Iām Nabila Soeria.
I am a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I completed my undergraduate degree in Clinical Nutrition at the University of California, Davis. Then, I moved to San Diego, CA and worked as a Weight Loss Counselor at a commercial weight loss center.
There, I learned that there is no one-size-fits-all diet. Even though the goal of losing weight was achieved, the program did not always unveil the root cause of the problem. I built deep relationships with over a hundred clients who gave me a purpose to keep learning and pursue my passion for Nutrition. Two years later, I became an FNTP and started my practice.
Growing up in Indonesia, I was surrounded by herbal remedies. Our meals were rich in flavors and nutrients from various spices and whole foods. I moved to the US when I was 18, and immediately noticed the change in my diet and how it affected my health. Years later, I had enough and reverted to what I know best, eating real foods. I started feeling better, and here I am, ready to share my experience and knowledge with you!
You may have tried different diets and exercises but find yourself back where you started. With many diet trends, it is easy to get lost and could be difficult to figure out what works best for our bodies.
Our body has the fantastic ability to heal itself and tell us what it needs. In my nutrition program, you will learn how to listen to your body's cues and properly fuel your body. We will analyze your symptom burden and health history to determine your nutritional, dietary, and behavioral needs. We will restore your body's healing power and bring your body back into balance.
